1. Uncomfortable
After a while, your office furniture will wear down. When it wears down, it’s not going to be as comfortable as when you first got it. Soon, it will start to get uncomfortable, and might even start to cause pain. People can’t work well if they are too busy trying to find a pillow to sit on or a comfortable position.
2. Does not match office
With time, you’re likely to upgrade the look of your office. When you do, you may find that the furniture doesn’t look nearly as good as it once did. It may not match the new colors or style of the office. While you may not like things to clash, there are more important reasons to have the office look good. Potential employees and clients will see the mismatched furniture, that can possibly send the wrong message.
3. Broken
Chairs and cubicles can last a very long time. However, eventually, the items are going to start to literally break. It may start small with some holes in the chairs or dents in the desks. Soon, chairs may start to break altogether, making them unusable. When this starts to happen, it’s bound to happen to more of your furniture. It’s time to replace it all.
